Enterprise outbound for cybersecurity vendors.CISOs on the calendar.
Security buyers are the hardest audience in B2B outbound. Enterprise data is hardest to find and verify, every inbox is full of vendors, and the decision runs through a CISO who has heard every pitch.
Three case files, Silverfort, Authomize and Virsec, show what two years of that work produces. Silverfort got 500+ enterprise leads, 200+ booked meetings and 25+ new enterprise clients, at 83% lower acquisition cost. Authomize tripled lead flow and doubled pipeline on the way to its acquisition by Delinea.
The founder ran cybersecurity campaigns at Northfield before Ubruo, including RSA and Red Hat, so the data problem in this vertical is a known one.
Who we target for you
- ›CISOs and VPs of Security at Fortune 1000 companies.
- ›IAM and DevSecOps leads, mapped to their decision makers before a single message goes out.
- ›Security leadership at accounts in active change: funding, hiring, leadership moves, stack shifts.
- ›Enterprise CISOs attending RSA Conference and Black Hat, booked into booth meetings and dinners.
Data in security
Every target account is mapped to its decision makers before outreach starts. Lists are built from LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo and ZoomInfo, filtered and approved by hand, and sequenced through lemlist. For Silverfort that meant Fortune 1000 security leadership, CISOs, VPs, IAM and DevSecOps leads, each with a named owner.
Messaging is written per persona, creative first. Multi-touch cadences carry a follow-up on every reply and on every silence, and the copy is A/B tested as the campaign runs. Cold calling sits next to LinkedIn and email where the buyer answers the phone.
Event campaigns
RSA Conference is the one week when every enterprise CISO is in one city. For Virsec we ran two consecutive RSA campaigns, account by account in the weeks before, and filled the booth calendar and the VIP CISO dinner table. Black Hat and the rest of the security event calendar got the same play. Silverfort's event campaigns were coordinated at exec level.
